Masonry Sand

In road construction, Masonry Sand plays a crucial role due to its fine texture and uniform particle size. It is commonly used for creating smooth, consistent mortar mixes essential for setting curbs, paving stones, and retaining walls, ensuring a solid and durable bond. Its fine grading makes masonry sand ideal for filling joints and gaps in brick or stonework, providing stability and preventing the shifting or settling of the installed materials over time. Additionally, Masonry Sand is often employed as a leveling base under concrete pavers, contributing to a flat, even surface that enhances the structural integrity and longevity of roadways and pedestrian paths. Its clean, fine nature also helps to create a smooth finish in various concrete applications, improving the overall aesthetics and functionality of the constructed surfaces. Masonry Sand is available exclusively at our Orlando Recycle Yard.
